Using our clean energy calculators (Solar PV, Battery Storage, Grid Independence, Heat Pumps, Heating Comparison, EV Charging) does not require submitting personal identifiable information.

Zero Server Storage of Calculation Inputs:All simulation parameters (such as system peak capacity, annual electricity consumption, heating degree days, or equipment selections) are processed exclusively client-side inside your browser. At no point are your personalized calculation figures transmitted to our web servers or logged in remote databases.

🖥️ Web Hosting & Technical Server Logs

Our website is hosted on dedicated server infrastructure located within the European Union. Whenever you access this website, the web server automatically records essential technical connection data:

Browser user-agent and build version
Operating system details
Referrer URL (previously visited website)
IP address of the accessing client
Date and timestamp of the server request

This data is strictly necessary to maintain system stability, ensure operational security, and defend against malicious cyber attacks. Processing is based on statutory legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR / EU GDPR). Server access logs are not cross-referenced with external data sources.

💾 Local Browser Storage (localStorage)

GridKalk UK does not deploy tracking cookies or third-party advertising beacons. To enhance user experience, we utilize browser local storage (localStorage) solely to preserve your selected location, regional filters, or calculator presets between sessions. This data remains isolated on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
